Service Description

We are more than excited to bring you our Introduction to Trailiing - brand new for 2024! Ever wanted to teach your dog to follow a track left by a ‘missing’ person? Trailing for dogs is an exciting and enriching pet activity that taps into their natural instincts and abilities to engage in a thrilling game of scent detection. With their extraordinary sense of smell, dogs can follow trails left by humans, other animals, or even hidden objects. As a pet activity, trailing provides numerous benefits. It aids confidence building and offers mental stimulation, keeping dogs mentally sharp and satisfied by providing a challenging puzzle for them to solve. Trailing as a team fosters a deeper bond between dogs and their owners, as it requires teamwork, communication, and trust. Working together to navigate through scents and obstacles strengthens the connection and understanding between human and canine companions. It is a rewarding activity that brings joy, fulfilment, and a sense of accomplishment to both dogs and their owners. The venue for this workshop is Carlton Park in Narborough. We will be working dogs one at a time so this is perfect for every dog, reactive, fizzy, sociable, young or old. Whilst waiting for your go, your dog will be in the car so that we can create a safe space for all. Dogs will need to be a minimum of 6 months old. You will be required to have your dog in a well fitted harness and longline (either 5 or 10 meters). The workshop lasts 2 hours, with plenty of rest time. We must have at least 3 people to run this course, if we do not reach these numbers, we may need to postpone. PAYMENT: A deposit will be taken on booking. Once we receive your booking notification, we'll contact you on the number provided via WhatsApp, and you'll have 48 hours to make the rest of the payment to the given account. If payment is not completed within the 48 hour period, we may open up the space.
