Herding Games Workshop

Service Description

Welcome to our new Herding Games Workshop for herding breeds that have a high drive for creeping, stalking, stopping, chasing, and grabbing. We're developed this workshop to bring you a better understanding of your dog, their needs, and a handful of really fun games that will engage the minds of your herding dog, as well as provide appropriate outlets for the behaviours that you may see as undesirable in daily life. After all, it's what they were bred to do... The session will be held at The Willows Doggy Daycare at Dunton Bassett (formerly Completely K9), on our field. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and feel free to bring a bottle of water. If your dog has a favourite toy, bring that too! I will assess whether we have all dogs out together of separate practice sessions, depending on the personalities of the dogs attending. Please note that we cannot have dogs who have a significant bite history, of show reactive behaviours towards people in these group sessions. I may be able to make exceptions for dogs that already attend the school via separating fences but please ask. Bookings are non refundable and non transferable so please check the dates carefully.
